Written and illustrated by REACH co-founders Eric and Isabelle Schnadig, My Little Brother Has Hirschsprung Disease tells the story of Henry, who has HD, from the perspective of his older brother Peter. With beautiful illustrations, readers will learn all about HD, including diagnosis, medical and home treatment, how it affects families, and much more in this useful and charming book.

My Little Brother Is A Trooper written and illustrated by REACH co-founder Isabelle Schnadig tells the story of Peter, who has a dual diagnosis of Hirschsprung Disease and Down syndrome. Peter’s older sister Lily tells us more about life with these diagnoses and how the family has worked together to give Peter a happy, healthy, and safe home. This book concludes with a letter addressed to adult caregivers in which the author shares her personal story and experience with her son, who has both conditions, in the hopes of helping others.
